Welcome Dinners
The Coonamble & Gulargambone communities each year hold a Welcome event and invite all new residents. This is organised by the community and is free of charge. This is a great way to meet people and to find out about social opportunities as many of the social and sporting clubs attend the night. Council prepares a Welcome pack to distribute on the night or you can contact the Economic Development Managers and request to be sent one. Email:

Rentafarmhouse
Coonamble Shire Council is working with the local communities in Coonamble, Gulargambone and Quambone to launch the Rentafarmhouse Scheme where families can apply to rent $1 per week, $50 per week or $150 per week farmhouses.
