In addition to all the action at the Rodeo arena there is plenty happening around Coonamble.  Buses will be running from the Rodeo ground on both Saturday and Sunday evenings so don't drink and drive-Catch the bus !

 Coonamble Bowling Club Saturday & Sunday Night

There will be live entertainment featuring Alana Potter at the club on both nights (Saturday and Sunday) so come along and be entertained.  The Club bistro will be operating over the entire weekend for Lunch  12-2 and Dinner 6-9pm.  The club is open the entire long weekend so come along and support our Gold sponsor!

 Terminus Hotel

Live entertainment all weekend with Neil Duddy on Friday night, Cowboy DJ on Saturday and Matt O'Leary on Sunday night.  Come and  check out our Bistro with Gourmet Pizza and other meals all weekend !

The Commercial Hotel

Bush Poets Breakfast

Held on Sunday morning at the Historic Plaza Theatre in the main street this event has been a feature of the Rodeo weekend for several years.  This year our guest poet is Andrew Hull

The event commences at 7.30am with the guest poet on stage at 8.30am  and a flier for the event can be downloaded here
Tickets will be $5 for Poetry and $15 for Breakfast and Poetry.  Children under 12 Gold Coin donation & family tickets available.
In addition to our Guest poet budding poets are encouraged to take the stage.  if you are interested in reading poetry please let us know so we can schedule you into the program.  Steven at tourism@coonambleshire.nsw.gov.au

Patchworking and Quilting Exhibition

 If you're looking for something a little more sedate why not visit the annual exhibition by the 'Material Girls '   Saturday 12th June and Sunday 13th June at the Coonamble Shire Library.  See some fantastic works of art and marvel at the creativity of our local residents.

 Entertainment on the Ground Saturday Night

There will be a community tug-of-war challenge on the Saturday evening from approx 6.30pm.  Community groups will be competing against teams from the Rodeo and Campdraft.
